Do you know a business who should be recognized?

The Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast Business Service Award is awarded annually to recognize a business in the community that;
  • Aspires to high ethical standards in its business;
  • Models through its action Rotary’s call to Service Above Self;
  • Demonstrates through its relationships with its  customers, its employees and the community  Rotary’s Four-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do:
 
  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
  4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Criteria for Selection

This award recognizes a business that operates within the geographic area of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast:
  • 111 Ave to northern city limits
  • 101 Street eastern to the city limits

Selection Committee

The selection committee is comprised of members of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast with a minimum of three members from the following groups:
  • President-Elect or Past President;
  • Vocational Chair;
  • Two members of the Vocational Committee, and
  • Public Relations/Communications Chair
Other members of the club may sit on the selection committee as requested.

Award Recipient Receives

The recipient of the Business Recognition Award will receive the following:
  • Lunch and program time at our Rotary Meeting to profile the business and its work in the community;
  • Framed certificate or plaque to be displayed in the business;
  • A donation of $500.00 awarded to a charity of its choice in the community;
  • An Honorary Membership of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast for one year; and
  • Media recognition provided/organized by Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast.
