My Dear Friends,
I want you to be the first ones in Canada to know that Mikko and I got engaged on December 3rd. I got a plain whitegold ring from Mikko on my 20th birthday, and I must admit it has been the best birthday gift I have gotten so far and I think it will be the best to come. I am extremely happy about that and had no second thoughts. We will be having a small party among my family, my grandparents and Mikko's family after Christmas. My mum is very happy as well, because she likes Mikko a lot and knows we are great together. My dad was of course a bit sad now that I actually have another man in my life PERMANENTLY, but I think he'll get over it after he notices I can fit two men in my heart at the same time! He is very glad about our engagement as well, I think.
Got to go, but I'll send you some pictures as soon as I get them developed and scanned. So, maybe next year after our party!
