Presentation for Rose Marie Basaraba
This past Thursday our club welcomed two long time Rotarians as Honorary members of our club, Friedrich Koenig and Rose Marie Basaraba. Rose Marie was not present and will be formally presented with her Honorary Membership at a later date.
Friedrich, better known to all as Fritz, joined our club on 26 Aug 1986. He is a past Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany. Fritz has been a loyal Rotarian for almost forty years and is also a Paul Harris Fellow Multiple Contributor.
Rose Marie joined or club on 10 Feb 2004 and has served on the executive of our club for many years in various positions. These include Community Service Director, Secretary (6 years) and the We Care Committee. She was voted Rotarian of the Year in 2006-07 and served as President in 2014-15. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow Multiple Contributor and a Rotary Foundation Benefactor.
