Our speaker on Tuesday Jan 12th was Helen Wright, a board member of ElderCare, a non-profit organization in Edmonton that provides programs for seniors with and without dementia and congruently, support for their caregivers.

Helen is also involved with 'Wild Rose People Helping People Program', no doubt because her son Sean, a former member of this club, is the CEO.

The Wild Rose Program provides opportunities for autistic adults developing skills that allow them to create items that can be donated in need or other autistic individuals.

As an aside, Helen is a retired rugby coach at the U of A, and she was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame 2 years ago
