The Zebra Centre

Every child has a unique story, and it’s our job at the Zebra Child Protection Centre to listen. In 2002, the Zebra Centre was founded out of a need to create one safe place where kids could tell. As the first Child Advocacy Centre of its kind in Canada, the Zebra Centre’s model was revolutionary – bring together a community of multidisciplinary professionals under one roof to support the child throughout the entire disclosure, investigative, judicial and healing process. Today, the Zebra Centre’s multidisciplinary team works towards the common goal of supporting children who have suffered abuse and creating a future where every child is heard.
