Liz has worked in community based non-profit senior serving programs for over 30 years.
In 2002 Liz was appointed Executive Director of Edmonton Meals on Wheels. Under her direction Meals on Wheels has expanded programming and services within the food security umbrella.
Prior to this time, Liz developed and implemented the community based 24 hours “TeleCare/Lifeline” emergency response program, implemented their centralized scheduling service and provided a 24 hour communication service for The Good Samaritan Society.
Her volunteer involvement includes being the Volunteer Coordinator on her community league’s Board of Directors, Board member of Edmonton Senior’s Coordinating Council and steering committee member of the City’s Age Friendly Edmonton.
