Hans came and visited me last Tuesday, unfortuanetly the occasion for him being in Denmark wasn't the most pleasant, but it was so nice to see him again. He gave me a little kick in the butt to use this web site, so here I am writing, and I will try to write more often... As many of you perhaps know I was in New Zealand from the middle of October to the middle of December with a friend from high school. We bought a car and drove aorund in the left side! It wasn't too bad though and we had an awesome time. The weather could have been better at times, but at least we were free from all the tourists. We hiked, bungy jumped, sprang out from an airplane (with a parachute on) and saw all the beautiful nature they have down there. After new years I started working in a union for leaders. I'm doing all different kind of things, copying, packeging, helping oraganizing a conference and lots of other things. The people I work with are really nice, so that's a big plus. At the moment they've only hired me to work to the 1st of June, but I hope I can work in June as well. The biggest news is that I've bought an appartment. It's in Copenhagen on an island called Amager, so actually it's not in the city of Copenhagen, but it only takes 15 minutes to bike there or 5 minutes with the metro. It's a 3 room appatment with a fairly new kitchen and it even has a little balcony where to people can sit. It needs to be painted and some cleaning, but other than that the condition of it is fine. Iw ill send you pictures onces I've painted it and decorated it the way I want. I'll get the keys for it the 1st of June, it's very exciting. So if any of you are coming to Denmark I now have my own place! I hope that you all are well and the it's starting to get warmer. I just went to Bornholm (a Danish island south of Sweden), with Mikkel and his parents. It rained one day, but otherwise it was great with sun. It was also nice to get a away for a few days. Tak care. love, Michaela
