Hello from Denmark

Thought it was a long time since I had written to you and told what is going on in my life.
I've had a great summer, in the beginning of July I went to Sounthern part of France with my parents and Mikkel. They have rented a house for two weeks. We only had 5 minutes on bike down to the Ardeche river and the weather was wonderful. The wine was good as well and it was nice to relax.

Saturday the 21st of August I returned from Corsica where I had spent two weeks with Mikkel. The temperature was above 30 degrees everyday and the water was 26 degrees. We were in the middle of tourist season, but most of them were Italians and French from the mainland. We only heard someone speak Danish once, so we felt we had the island to ourselves. We had rented a car and brought a tent. It was a very beautiful island, the mountains almost went straight down in the ocean.
In June I had taken a PADI diving certificate (it was a bit cold to take it Denmark...) and we had decided to dive from a town called Porto. The water was all clear and even though I went 24 meters down I could still see everything clearly. There were lots of fish and even some corals. It was very beautiful, I'm definately going to dive again.

The two biggest events in my life though is that firstly I got my apartment. I painted the whole lot and am now getting used to live away from home. I will get Mikkel to take some pictures and then post them here.
The second thing is that I've been accepted to Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. I start the 1st of September, the first 3 days are introduction days where you get to know the other students and then the 6th of September it starts with the reading.
I'm really looking forward to get to learn something again, my job is good but it is limited what they can offer me when I'm only a graduate from high school. I do hope, however, to get a part time job there so I can earn some money.

I hope you've all had a great summer and that it has been warmed than the one in Denmark, we first got above 25 degrees the 30th of July, so I've been quite happy about going on holidays.
