I had volunteered a couple of times before, but the Mustard Seed Church on October 17th 2003 was a great experience. To actually be there with the people instead of just giving money to the charities was something I had never done before. I have been collecting some money for Red Cross back in Finland a couple of times, but serving food and getting the positive feedback from the people really made me feel good. There was a lot of cake too... ;)
