Youth Empowerment Support Services (YESS)

Our regular meeting Tuesday January 13, is moved to the Y.E.S.S. at the Armoury Resource Centre (ARC), located at 10310 85 Avenue NW, see MAP.

A couple of months ago the club membership voted to allocate a major portion of our community funding in a long term partnership in accordance with President Stephan's strategic funding plan.

Some of the items to be highlighted:

• the purchase of the furniture with the $10,000 we donated,
• the opportunities for volunteer work from our members so that we can select which opportunities would be most helpful to you and most interesting for the members.
• talk about the need for a shelter for youngsters....  we talked about the LGLB focus........

This is an important endeavor by the club and we need to be properly informed about our hands-on opportunities with this important community partner.

The lunch is complementary by Y.E.S.S. and we will not require the usual 'Set-up & Greeter' and 'Door Duty' teams on the 13th.
In order to give Y.E.S.S. a head count, you have to sign up to indicate your attendance before Monday, Jan 12th. Look for the 'Register' or Attend or Decline button elsewhere on this page and register NOW!

Please note that parking fee on the ARC lot is $2. All proceeds are returned to Y.E.S.S.
