Candy bar sales raises $600 to fight PolioThe Rotary Club of Cortland raises $600 for Polio. Every October the Rotary Clubs around the world celebrate their fight to irradiate polio. This year the club sold candy bars at the four locations of The First National Bank of Dryden. The sale raised $600 for the polio plus fund at The Rotary Foundation. This donation will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at a 2;1 match. That means that there will be $1,800 added to this ongoing fight to end polio now. A special thanks to all the people at the First National Bank of Dryden for their help in making this happen.
