REMINDER: Due to the number of Rotarians attending and helping at DG John Campbell's Conference in Port Lincoln from 26-29 March, there will be NO ON-SITE meeting at the Naval Military & Air Force Club on 26 March.
Last week, we farewelled Terry and Angela Rodoni (except for their attendance at the Conference from Thursday-Saturday morning) as they will be heading overseas for their six week holiday - cruising the delights of the Greek Islands, crusing to Gallopoli during the 100 year commemoration, and visiting our past Long Term Exchange student Celia Descargues and her family in Toulouse, France (among other places). Safe travel, Terry and Ange.
David Riggall handed out Centurion forms for Rotarians that wish to make their annual $100 donation to The Rotary Foundation. Forms should be returned to David or forwarded to RI at Parramatta by 2 April.
Rob McLennan proudly announced he and Sally had become grandparents for the second time with the birth of Henry Robert (9lbs 8oz in the old system) on Sunday 15 March. Their daughter Kate and her husband Sam are as pleased as punch - as are the doting grandparents. After Rob completes his Master of Ceremonies role at the Conference, he will be flying off to join wife Sally in England for a much deserved long holiday.
GUEST SPEAKER - Melissa Edwards
Melissa gave a very interesting talk on the latest Entertainment Books and the benefit of using the electronic version instead of the book - which always seems to be in the other car! With an app on your phone, it's easy to find a nearby restaurant or service provider, order, then have that particular merchant tick off their business from your electronic listing. Most people usually have their phone on them - so for convenience, the app is the way to go.
26-29 March: Port Lincoln Conference - all hands needed on deck to help DG John & Julie to provided a smooth-running District Conference. Go online at www.rotary9500in2015.com.au to register.

Tom was at the hospital visiting with his best friend Larry who was dying. Tom asked, "If there is baseball in heaven will you come back and tell me?" Larry nodded yes just as he passed away.
That night while Tom was sleeping, he heard Larry's voice in a dream, "Tom..."
"Larry! What is it?!" asked Tom.
"I have good news and bad news from heaven."
"What's the good news?" "There is baseball in heaven after all, but the bad news is you're pitching on Tuesday."
