Andy Becker
Forty years of elections

From his appointment as a State Returning Officer in 1967 until his retirement in 2005 Andy Becker was involved in the conduct of elections. In the sixteen years he was State Commissioner he oversaw four general elections, a referendum and sat on three redistribution commissions. He was deputy Australian Electoral Commissioner for the 1998 federal elections and 1999 referendums and Commissioner for the 2001 and 2004 elections.
