This week we have a breakfast meeting on Thursday 12 March at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, 150 North Terrace, commencing at 7.15 am. If you are unable to attend please email me at kmball@jelkamain.com or text me on 0402853929 before 1.00pm on Wednesday so I can advise the Stamford Plaza Hotel about numbers attending.
Our guest speaker this week is Sarah Brown, a software developer who is also the State Director for 'Code like a girl' in SA which provides events, education and employment opportunities for girls and women looking to enter the world of coding. Sarah's talk will be of particular interest to anyone interested in the future of work in a world of automation and technology changes. Please bring along any guests who might be interested in career opportunities in computing, especially for girls.

Smith goes to see his supervisor in the front office.
“Boss,” he says, “we’re doing some heavy house-cleaning at home tomorrow, and my wife needs me to help with the attic and the garage, moving and hauling stuff.”
“We’re short-handed, Smith” the boss replies. “I can’t give you the day off.”
“Thanks, boss,” says Smith. “I knew I could count on you!”
