Official opening of "The Beach House"
The Women’s & Children’s Hospital (WCH) Foundation Beach House is South Australia’s first purpose-built holiday home for families with children with complex medical needs or in palliative care. Located at Encounter Lakes, Victor Harbor, the Beach House is specifically designed, constructed and medically equipped to meet the needs of some of the Hospital’s sickest children. The Beach House is a very special place for children and their families to relax and create precious memories together.
We are after Parking attendants on the weekend to help direct cars to the parking we have managed to secure at the Victor Harbor Hospital (300 metre walk). We will be having about 90 cars on the Saturday and 150 on the Sunday. We don’t have to be Rotarians. Anyone that we can organise a quick DCSI check for:

A lady was walking down the street to work and she saw a parrot on a perch in front of a pet store. The parrot said to Her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly."
Well, the lady is furious! She stormed past the store to her work. On the way home she saw the same parrot and it said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly." She was incredibly angry now.
The next day the same parrot again said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly." The lady was so cross that she went into the store and said that she would sue the store and kill the bird. The store manager apologised profusely and promised he would make sure the parrot didn't say it again.
When the lady walked past the store that day after work the parrot called to her, "Hey lady." She paused and said, "Yes?" The bird said, "You know."
