Governor's Cup 

This award is given to the #1 Rotary Club in District 7475, which consists of 87 clubs in our area. The Rotary Club of Branchburg will share this year's award with the Madison Club.  This special award has been awarded to our club for for numerous projects we have under taken during 2018=2019 Rotary year. Programs include Spaghetti Dinner to raise funds for the END Hunger 3.6, Comedy Night to help students with scholarships, Veterans Appreciation Day, Motorcycle Run, Interfaith Dinner, Santa Fly-In, Cigar Socials, Bicycle collection, Open House Russian Visitors, Humanitarian Mission to Nepal,  End Hunger 3.6 food packing.  Branchburg Rotarians, PEOPLE OF ACTION, were busy every month helping our community and communities around the world: programs like cooking for the homeless, providing support to those with special needs, raising funds for our veteran network, scholarships to local students, supplying food to the local food pantry, supporting many other service agencies that ask for our assistance. 

 

1st Place Award for our International Project
 
This International Service Project award was given to the Rotary  club of Branchburg for their recent international project in Nepal. The Rotary Club of Branchburg has been awarded this distinction for the special project conducted in Nepal to help  a needy community 
CHICKEN FOR PROSPERITY
School dropout rates continued to increase due to family financial hardship in Nepal.
 
To address this problem The Rotary club of Branchburg created a project that will be sustainable and beneficial to the children and their families. Branchburg Rotary club launched a program in Nepal called “CHICKEN FOR PROSPERITY”  during their 2019 Humanitarian mission  to Nepal and distributed 2 chickens each to 100 families in this village to do a chicken farming. Chicken farming is known to be a very successful and profitable project in Nepal due to high demand for organic eggs and meat.
 
 
 
1st Place Award for the Vocational Service
The Rotary club of Branchburg received a 1st place Vocational Service Award at the annual district conference for hosting 6 Russian special education teachers with the OPEN WORLD program. Rotary club hosted 6 Russian Special Education teachers in Central New Jersey to share our knowledge about Autism programs provided by top autism program providers in Central NJ
