The Rotary club of Branchburg received a 1st place Vocational Service Award at the annual district conference for hosting 6 Russian special education teachers with the OPEN WORLD program. Rotary club hosted 6 Russian Special Education teachers in Central New Jersey to share our knowledge about Autism programs provided by top autism program providers in Central NJ. 
 
 
 
BRANCHBURG — Open World Leadership Center, a legislative branch agency, send a delegation of 6 Russias special education teachers to Central New Jersey from September 28 to October 6, 2018. While in Central New Jersey, Open World delegates were hosted by local Rotarians and host families. 

   The delegation of six Anastasiya Titova, special education teacher from Krasnoselsky District of St. Petersburg,  Irina  Kakurina, Special education tutor, St. Petersburg Preschool,  Marina Kamanina,  Psychologist,  Anastasiya  Knyazeva, Reporter and Correspondent, Lipetsk Media, Anastasiia Shakhova, from Saint-Petersburg, and group leader  Polina Nozdrina-Plotnitskaya. 

In Central New Jersey, delegates collaborated on best practices for Social Inclusion: Autism program. Delegates visited the Midland School, The Central School for Autistic children in Franklin, Caldwell University and the Eden Institute in Princeton as well as did special presentations at the Lambertville-New Hope, Branchburg, Somerville, Madison, Montgomery-Rocky Hills, Princeton Corridor and the Caldwell Rotary Clubs. 
 
 
They met with local leaders in Somerville and Branchburg areas as well as visit the Capitol Building in Trenton and met with Senator Kip Bateman. Additional activities included joining the Megan Bradley Foundation dinner, Branchburg Township Community Fair and visited the New York city.  
 
The program was carefully designed to address not only the general theme of THE BEST PRACTICES for SOCIAL INCLUSION: AUTISM PROGRAM, but to also explore the individual interests of each delegate. The itinerary was well balanced and approved by the OPEN WORLD program. It was clearly understood that this was a “LEARNING WEEK” for the delegates, but they also had plenty of time for socializing, shopping, social-cultural activities such as sightseeing, excursions and entertainment. The professional presentations were of benefit not only to the delegates, but they allowed everybody to get an understanding as to how programs, visions and implementations were organized and managed in RUSSIA.
