Dec. 19, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Come work on the Rotary Rose Parade Float! It's a fun filled day. Artistic ability/creativity not required.
When people come together to protect our planet, communities bloom. This year’s float features a thriving village carried by a giant tortoise — a beautiful symbol of the connection between a healthy planet and strong communities. It is a celebration of Rotary members as People of Action — restoring ecosystems, improving water quality, protecting natural resources, and advancing sustainable solutions that help communities thrive for generations to come. Date: Sat December 19, 2026 (If there are too many volunteers for the Rotary float, we may be asked to work on another float. Like other Rotary projects, flexibility and positive attitude is key.) Location: Irwindale (you can meet there, or we will arrange carpools)
Time: 9 am - 4 pm (partial shift not available, must be available for the entire time)
Minimum Age: 13
Since we have limited spots, Rotarians first. After 10/15 we will honor requests for a plus 1.
Cost: $20/person for Rotary Parade Shirt which must be worn while volunteering.
Before signing up, please review complete list of rules.
Bring your own lunch, snacks, water. There is no food available onsite and the lunch break is only 30 min.
A group of us participated in 2023 and 2025. It's an incredible bonding experience. Contact Madhu with questions or to reserve a spot.
