Join us for a special program as we present the 2025-26 Sunrise Foundation Annual Report and officially launch the 2026-27 Every SUNRISE Rotarian Every Year Campaign. President Janet Napier and Foundation Treasurer Jody Dolan Holehouse will share the annual report, followed by highlights of our foundation’s impact from Ron Brooks (Community Service) and Margie Woodruff (International Service). We’ll also kick off this year’s Season of Giving.

Join us! We meet for breakfast on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. at the beautiful historic Santa Barbara Club, located at 1105 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, California, USA.

 

The meeting begins at 7:00 a.m. but come earlier to hang out with a cup of something warm and mingle with Rotarians and guests. Breakfast buffet includes fresh fruit, baked breads, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon. $40 guest fee payable at the door.

District Governor
Margarida Eidson is a member of the Rotary Club of Ventura East, joining in May of 2017. She served as Club President in 2020-2021 and again for the last Quarter of 2023. 
 
Margarida served District 5240 as Youth Services Director in 2021-2022, as Assistant Governor in 2022-2023 and as Chief of Staff in 2023-2024. She was selected as the District Governor for 2026-2027.
 
Margarida is the president of Eidson Management, Inc., which provides bookkeeping, financial analysis, marketing, and human resource services to multiple clients. In addition, Margarida’s company manages the Poinsettia Pavilion, a non-profit event center in Ventura that hosts around 80 events monthly.
 
Margarida enjoys volunteering in her community, holding many different positions throughout the years. She lives in Camarillo, California and has four wonderful boys.
 
5 fun facts about Margarida:
  • She is from Portugal.
  • She was a professional Ballet dancer.
  • Every year she swam around the Ventura pier with all her boys at the end of Jr. Lifeguards summer training camp.
  • To relax she loves to knit and crochet.
  • While her boys were Boy Scouts, she attended many Boy Scouts summer camps.
