01 Sep. 2026 Nick Wigle, owner Super Bee Rescue and Removal Back at the Music Academy to Learn All About Bees Sep. 01, 2026 12:00 p.m. Nicholas Wigle began his career in beekeeping in 2009. He is viewed as an expert in the field — being called to remove feral honeybees from attics, walls, and landscapes. Nicholas’s company, Super Bee Rescue, removes hundreds of feral hives per year. The team cares for over 500 colonies, performs 800 rescues per year, and maintains 80 bee apiaries. His team provides beekeeping consulting in Santa Barbara County, CA. Nicholas graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Business and Economics, and received his Master Beekeeping Certificate from the University of Montana.

His dynamic expertise includes institutional landlord and tenant representation, lease negotiation and consulting, lease auditing, sublease negotiation, financial analysis, and market research expertise. Mike joined Colliers in 2025 from Radius Commercial Real Estate, where he served as senior vice president for four years. Mike graduated from the University of California, Berkeley; holds a Master of Business Administration, from the University of San Francisco; and serves on the Board of the Santa Barbara Rental Property Association.
06 Oct. 2026 Steve Jacobsen Interfaith Efforts in the Santa Barbara Community Oct. 06, 2026 12:00 p.m. Steve has for more than 40 years in the nonprofit and spiritual development fields as Executive Director of Hospice of Santa Barbara, Director of La Casa de Maria Retreat Center (before it closed in 2018 following the debris flow event), and as a Presbyterian pastor in a variety of states and settings. He's been active in inter-spiritual work for 20 years, particularly with the Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist communities.

This year District Governor Margarida Eidson, from the Rotary Club of Ventura East, will provide an update on District 5240 activities.
