Warrnambool West Primary Breakfast Club
Brian Trenery advised that we have been asked to provide 2-3 people to provide breakfasts to students until the end of term, about 9-10 weeks. This is at no cost to Rotary and volunteers will be required from 8:15 am to 9:30 am on a Wednesday (not all Wednesdays). Brian believes we might have enough people but if anyone else is interested in helping out, please let Brian know.
Rotary Peace Choir
Judy Ross advised that the Peace Choir will be reforming to perform at next year’s Peace Concert. First rehearsal is on 8 November at 6:30 pm at the Church of England, Henna Street. This is a Rotary function so if you miss meetings, will count as a make-up. For more details, talk to Judy.

Greetings dear friends in the Rotary Club of Warrnambool.
I think of you often and look forward to hearing news of our club. Thank you for the bulletins _ I really enjoy receiving them, and to read of the various activities, speakers, etc. I miss seeing you, of course, but I appreciate your interest. Thank you too, for your interest in my welfare; I appreciated the lovely phone call from Bunny _ thank you and best wishes to my special friend.

Attendance
Louise Brennan advised that members who are attending less than 50% will be given a courtesy call to check on their welfare and why we haven’t seen them around of late, we miss them. Need to make sure people are engaged and we value their input.
Make-ups
A great way of keeping your attendance up is being involved with club activities, working on BBQ’s and selling raffle tickets. Just let the attendance officer know you require a make-up for your efforts.
Car Raffle Tickets
Tickets are now available for sale and we had our first ticket sale at Bunnings last Friday. A $98 profit was made. The roster for this Friday at Woolies is full (thank you) and there are some spots still available over the weekend which need to be filled. Please contact Louise Brennan if you can help out.
Bulletin Quiz
It is highly recommended you keep an eye on the Bulletin as “random rewards” are being given out. Anne Adams scored a freddo frog for being the first person to answer the quiz question correctly.

Movie Fundraising Event
Saturday 15 October 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Capitol Cinema, Warrnambool. $20 per person includes a light supper. To support the 2016 Alternative to Schoolies Initiative Boarding Facility Project.

Tradies BBQ Pontings
6 x 1 per month Friday morning slots and they pay a donation to Rotary. Thanks to Gerry and Brian for helping out at the first BBQ last week.
Bunnings BBQ Last Friday
Thanks to John Nisbet, Bunny Hinchcliff, Alan Bowes, Sharon Stark, Steve Giddens, Ron Bishop, Joan Austin and Tony Austin for manning the BBQ on Friday. $233.80 was raised for Mental Health Week.
Walk for Wellness BBQ
Rotary has been asked to provide a BBQ for the walkers when they finish their walks on 5 November. The Roster hasn’t been prepared yet, but Tony asked to keep options open for this day.
Next Social Activity
Following a show of hands, it was agreed that the next social activity will be held at the Bowls Club for lunch on the Sunday October 23. Robbie to arrange.
Update on Eric Williams and Keith McLeod
Ron Rauert provided an update on Eric Williams who has been in hospital for a number of weeks and is doing well and looking much better. He has a few more weeks to go in respite then goes home to stay with his daughter.
Keith McLeod has been in hospital and may possibly get out tomorrow or the next day. He is looking much better.
