She volunteers as an Alzheimer’s Association Community Educator reflecting her dedication to supporting families navigating the challenges of aging and memory care. Liz also serves on the Board of Houston Area Continuity of Care. Liz is also the Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series, a seminar series featuring candid conversations with expert panelists. Chief Farquhar has been serving Bellaire since 2005, rising through the ranks from Firefighter/Paramedic to Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal. With 20 years of experience and a deep commitment to our community, he’s ready to lead the department into its next chapter. As Fire Chief, he’s oversees department operations, leads emergency management efforts, and works closely with staff and residents to ensure top-tier emergency services for Bellaire.
