Shop with a Cop is Back!

Shop with a Cop is back again! In partnership with the Bellaire Police Department, officers will take students from BraeBurn and Rodriguez Elementary shopping at Target to buy holiday gifts for their families!

Rotarians, we need your help to wrap presents! Please come to the Meyerland Target (300 Meyerland Plaza, Houston) at 3:30pm on Thursdays, December 7 and 14, 2023. See you there!

Oct 19 - Polio Awareness for World Polio Day

October 24 is WORLD POLIO DAY! Bellaire/SW Houston Rotary Club will host a Polio Awareness Day during our Thursday, October 19, 2023 club meeting. Members and their guests are encouraged to wear burgundy in remembrance and recognition of those effected by Polio. We are seeking stories from members who have been touched by the Polio virus either personally or in their lives.

Polio was eradicated in the United States in 1979 - in honor of this special time, we are encouraging folks to donate $19.79 which we will collect to give one club donation to Rotary's PolioPlus campaign. Member accounts can be charged by contacting our Treasurer, Ralph Rieger. Contact Jamay or Sam to contribute stories or for any questions.

Rotary Scholarship Wine Dinner

Our 6^th Annual Bellaire/Southwest Houston Rotary Club Wine Dinner is coming up on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the BraeBurn Country Club. The evening features an elegant four-course dining experience paired with Becker Vineyards fine wines. Hear from Willbern scholarship recipients and participate in an exciting live auction including vacations, sports memorabilia, golf outings and more to bid on. All proceeds go to supporting the Willbern Heritage Scholarship Foundation. Tickets have closed to attend this event.
