Green & Gold Community Garden

The Green & Gold Community Garden, located on about two acres on the University of Alberta South Campus in Edmonton,
is a collaboration of the School of Public Health, the Faculty of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences, and the community.
Volunteers run the garden and their labor, and most of the seeds and plants are donated. The public (and the garden volunteers)
can purchase the produce during market hours throughout the summer and fall by making a donation. All funds raised from
the donations go to the Tubahumarize Association in Rwanda, a not-for-profit organization that supports socially and economically
marginalized women.
