Hi,
I am looking for your support in our spring fundraiser. Last year the Rotary Club of Edmonton initiated a Step Up to the Plate luncheon. The event was well received and assisted us in providing funds for three inner city schools on the High Social Vulnerability list.
The program for this year is highly innovative and will be extremely entertaining.
It will be at the Chateau Lacombe, 11:30 to 13:30, Monday 7 May, Cost of $50 includes parking at the Chateau Lacombe. Tickets are available thru http://stepup2018.eventbrite.ca/
I would appreciate if you would assist us and circulate this information to your members.

ENTERTAINMENT
Our emcee is Edmontonian, Jesse Lipscombe.. co-founder of Make It Awkward, accomplished fitness magazine feature, comedian and the face of many "Living in Downtown Edmonton" commercials.

Our Performers are Soap Box Duo (fresh off the tour bus and recent winners of the United Way Voice Competition!) & Viva Dance Company. These two professional groups have created "Our Rotary Story" and will be telling that story through a theatrical performance, unique to our club!

THE PROGRAM
Arch Dickson Paul Harris Award This will be the first of many years that we will honour an Arch Dickson Paul Harris Recipient!
This year, for the first time EVER, a youth will take home this honour! Nicole Baker, a MacEwan student who has made an incredible impact in the city, Canada and across the globe, will take home the award and $1000 will be allocated to Shelterbox Canada on her behalf. You won't want to miss all that she has been accomplishing!
