I Love A Clean San Diego
![]() Founded as the San Diego War Against Litter Committee (WALC) in 1954, I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) has worked to improve the health and beauty of San Diego for over 67 years. In the 1970s, “I Love A Clean San Diego” was the slogan for the organization’s anti-litter campaign. In 1980 it became the organization’s name. In 1989, ILACSD merged with the San Diego Ecology Center, joining two leading environmental organizations together to better serve the community, under one name. ![]() The San Diego County Taxpayers Association is a nonpartisan association of individuals, businesses, and organizations who promote effective and efficient government on behalf of all San Diego County taxpayers. SDCTA engages civic leadership as well as the public to develop and promote well researched policy solutions. The San Diego Taxpayers Association was founded on September 18, 1945, just four days after the abrupt end of WWII. District 5340's Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative

District 5340's dedicated Anti-Human Trafficking task force proudly launches a series of initiatives that are designed to increase the awareness of San Diego County's human sex trafficking scourge and generate measures to help prevent individuals -- primarily young people -- from becoming victims.
Past District Governor Steve Weitzen will join us today to update Old Mission Rotary on District 5340's efforts to end human human trafficking.
