Our upcoming speaker, Michele Vass, President of Rocklin Friends of the Library, will share about the organization's mission and history. The organization promotes and supports the Rocklin Library and the Placer County Library system and encourages community interest in libraries, reading, and lifelong learning. We are excited to learn more, so come on out this Wednesday.

 

 

 

Last week, Emily Hoffman, the Public Information Officer at Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA), was responsible for “talking trash” with us and sharing about innovative waste diversion manufacturing and technologies; I heard robots and AI. The tour of the facility comes highly recommended, maybe for the next social or date night.

 

 

 

Speaking of trash, remember, our Creek Clean-up project this year is on Saturday, September 14th. It’s a great opportunity to come out and help us with a creek clean-up that provides a chance to gather and give back to the community.
