Rotary Creek Clean-up Project

Our Creek Clean-up project this year is a little over four weeks away and will take place on Saturday, September 14^th.  The project will begin at 8:00 am and wrap up at approximately 11:00 am (or when we finish if sooner).  It’s a great opportunity to come out and help us with a creek clean-up project that provides us with a chance to gather and give back to the community.

We will be cleaning up Pleasant Grove Creek north of Stanford Ranch Rd which is accessed off Stanford Ranch Road with parking on Delta Dr and Key Ct. (We are cleaning up the same creek and working further upstream this year)

Key Information:

• Project: South Placer Rotary Creek Cleanup Saturday, September 14th
• Time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am or sooner if we are finished!
• Activity: We will be cleaning up the Pleasant Grove Creek area north of Stanford Ranch Rd
• Parking is best on Delta Dr and Key Ct.  The creek in this section runs from Wyckford Blvd to Stanford Ranch Rd and we will access the cleanup area from Stanford Ranch Rd   
• We will have water and snacks

Our project includes picking up trash and removing other debris along the creek area.  The City of Rocklin will provide gloves, trash bags, and trash grabbers, and they will haul away all collected trash. 

This project will allow us to gather together, enjoy some fresh air, and visit other Rotarians, family members, friends, and other volunteers.

Please complete a Volunteer Participation Agreement (attached) and bring it with you.  We will have copies at the project site as well.
