National Rehydration Day on the Monday after the Big Game puts a spotlight on mass dehydration following the most-watched, and cheered for, sporting event in America each year--the Big Game. While the day before is a nationwide celebration, the morning after is a call to everyone – not just the athletes on the big screen- to focus on recovery, wellness, and replenishing the body.
Our special guest speakers this week are for our annual speech contest event in place of our regular meeting. Our Wednesday lunch meeting will start early; please be on time. The meeting starts at 11:30 AM. Food will be served between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. The Doors will be closed during speeches, and entrance will be available only between speakers. Please be sure to come early and support the students.
Future of Rocklin
Last week's speaker was Andrew Keys, Assistant City Manager for the City of Rocklin. Andrew has a proven track record of success in local government management and a deep understanding of financial leadership. He shared the state of the city and what lies ahead for Rocklin.
We also had Ken Hubert present with his first Paul Harris pin last week.
