On December 15, 1791, the new United States of America ratified the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution, confirming the fundamental rights of its citizens.
This week's meeting features our very own Rotarian, Mark Wolff, owner of Senior Care Authority Sacramento Metropolitan Area, who will give a vocational talk. Don't miss it and bring a friend. Also, a reminder that this will be our last meeting for the calendar year. Over the next two weeks, we will not have our lunch meetings in observance of the holidays.
Holiday Party
Last week, there was no lunch meeting. Our club members gathered on Saturday night for our annual holiday party, filled with a fun evening of food, drink, celebration, and fellowship. We also had a great time with our gift exchange and lots of good-natured stealing.
A big shout-out to Christine and her husband, Gary, for hosting us all at their home. Additionally, we would like to thank our smoke master, Randy, for bringing the meats, and to all our fellow Rotarians for bringing a variety of tasty foods and treats.
Cheers to a great event
Christmas Basket Program
Our Annual Christmas Basket Program is coming to a crescendo, and Shelly is leading the charge like Santa on espresso! Bruce and Chris have teamed up with Toys for Tots to ensure every child gets something magical.

The 2025 South Placer Rotary Club Diaper & Sock Drive has wrapped up and was a big success.
Our Club collected donations from members and the community. The club donated 4,193 diapers, 7,880 baby wipes, and five containers of formula. This is the largest holiday delivery of diapers, wipes, and formula to date.
Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award
Let's recognize our fellow Rotarians who have been living the Rotary way of service above self. Nominate a member for the Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award
The Rotary Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award honors Rotarians and Rotaractors who have demonstrated exemplary service to the Foundation and who received the Citation for Meritorious Service at least four years earlier. During the month of January, any Rotarian or Rotaractor can nominate one candidate for this award by submitting an online nomination form.
