Construction
Final Completion
Inauguration of Subirana, Honduras water project with our partner club, the Rotary Club of El Progresso. There were 7 kms of new pipe laid, air valves installed along the line for cleaning, operational water purification plant , storage tanks constructed and cleaned.
The community of 2500 participated in surveys pre and post project and in a WASH program in clean water, hygiene and sanitation.
Already we have received videos from the community saying they get water 24 hours a day instead of periodically each week, and now they have access to potable water as well.
This was one of the 3 to 5 year project visions for the E-Club of Canada One International Committee planned by the club in 2015-2016.
