I have attached a couple of photos of my crocheting – one of a granny square blanket and another showing my cotton dishcloths and scarves.

I have $340 which I will be donating to Project Amigo from sales of the dishcloths, scarves and the custom order blanket.  I do not keep any money that I receive – 100% goes to non-profit organizations and international projects, usually with a literacy component.

I am taking over 35 scarves (and some baby hats) to Nepal at the end of October.  I am joining other Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Chilliwack-Mt. Cheam as they are visiting a school that they helped fund working with an organization called Himalayan Life.  I will not be travelling up to the school as it is a strenuous 7 hour 4x4 trip on a very rough road and my back won’t take the trip.  However, my scarves will!
Also, we are going to check out other possible projects and partnerships with the organization and local Rotary clubs.  I may bring some ideas back to our International Service committee for consideration.
