E-Club Sponsored Student Laura Fabiola and E-Club Member Judy Brown
My family and I are super well. We are locked up at home because of the pandemic, although my parents have to go to work. They carry out all the measures to avoid the bacteria. Their work was previously canceled, but two weeks ago they had to look elsewhere because it was very difficult to be without work. My mom goes about two days a week to do cleaning at a home and my dad is leaving now to work with an uncle.
I am studying from home, the teachers upload tasks and work to the platforms, then I have to upload it when I have finished it. Thankfully, the teachers have been very accessible with the students who do not have a computer at home. Another thing I have been doing in my spare me is studying words in English and thus improving little by little. I know that it is a quite complicated process but with dedication and effort I know I can achieve it. Also I have been taking care of my brothers when mom goes to work. I have even gone to help my mom in her work when I have no tasks to deliver and I am unemployed.
Our family is supporting and taking care of an aunt who is a little sick, but she has been recovering very well. Next Monday is her last chemotherapy - she has a problem of a small tumour in the lung. We hope that she will recover soon.
I think we are having incredible and wonderful family moments that we have never had before, because being isolated together, we do different actvities such as coloring, board games and some physical activity.
On Saturday, April 18, we celebrated my dad's birthday, we made a small gathering with the family and a little music on the horn and voila, it was all at home locked up and taking the necessary measures.
The weather here is very hot during the day and very cool at night, how is the weather there?
Well that’s all from me for the moment. I thank you again for your unconditional support, my family also sends you thanks, a big hug and a cordial greeting.
I wish you much success and blessings in each of the activities you do.
