It began as a bold idea:
Where no boundary could be seen,
no boundary should be.

The Waterton Glacier International Peace Park is the first trans-boundary peace park in the world, envisioned by Rotarians from Canada and the USA and approved by both governments in 1932.

Every year in September, Rotarians from Washington and Alberta come together for an Assembly named “Hands Across the Border”, hosted by a Canadian Club one year and a US Club the next.

I had the honour and pleasure to attend one of these conferences several years ago, and I can tell you that it was one of the most emotional and inspiring Rotary Event I ever attended.

This year the Virtual conference experience will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Missoula Sunrise on Saturday, September 19  at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. MDT

There is no cost, but please register HERE

Rotary E-Satellite Club of Canada One for Young Professionals

Our First Meeting with the Young Professionals took place on Wednesday, September 9.

After explaining the concept of an E-Satellite Club under the umbrella of the Rotary E-Club of Canada One, we answered questions from the five attendees, who joined us via ZOOM from as far as Finland, Italy, Brazil and Canada.

E-Club representatives in attendance were President Tammy, Membership Chair Sharon and Committee Member Elly.

By the end of the meeting, we all felt we were on the right track and were assured that there was 100% interest in being part of this future E-Satellite Club.

We continue getting inquiries and will hold a second meeting in the near future, for those who were not able to attend.

More news to follow soon.
