ImageGreeter this week: Archie Skirving
Archie’s greeting, is also the Inspirational Moment for this week

Our son is an Episcopal priest in Michigan. On the American Election Day, he wrote:

“My prayer for election day: That all citizens, who have not yet voted will do so today;
-that regardless of who is elected, our country and its elected leaders will commit to working together in the best interest of their Nation, its people, and its right place in the world;
-that we will demonstrate compassion and care for the most vulnerable in our midst.”

At the top of the article was a poppy, that symbol of sacrifice and that symbol of freedom.

ImageAs the Canadian nation has paused on 11 November to remember, please hold our son’s prayer in your thoughts, as, another busy November week begins.

Remembrance is more than a day!

Remembrance is a way of daily living!

How can Rotary stay relevant to its younger members?

Food for Thought (with a twist)
This week we bring you an entirely different food for Thought and would love to hear your feedback on it.

Favorite recipes from Half Hour meals:
Chicken is a great staple in the kitchen. It tastes wonderful on its own and you can make it in many different styles. It has a great savory flavor. Chicken is used all around the world in almost every culture. We love how international it is! Chicken is the perfect choice for a busy weekday meal. We brought together our best 8 user submitted chicken dishes that can be made in under half an hour. If you're in a big rush, try this trick to making chicken cook faster. Cut each breast in half horizontally to make two thin pieces. You can also pound the chicken to be thinner. The chicken should cook in half the time! Check out the top 8 quick chicken dishes!
