The Arboretum San Antonio is situated at 2201 Buena Vista St, San Antonio, TX 78207-37021. This beautiful space is on a mission to create a world-class arboretum for San Antonio, celebrating trees as a living heritage branching across generations. The vision for this arboretum is to flourish into a museum of trees, and it’s a long-term investment for the region. The site, located in Southeast San Antonio, will be a place where trees thrive and inspire visitors with their natural beauty and significance1.

Additionally, the Arboretum San Antonio will focus on celebrating the native trees of South Texas. It will be a preserve in the heart of San Antonio’s historic southeast side. The park will be located at the former Republic Golf Club, off SE Military Drive, and will cover 158.5 acres. Brooks, a local organization, has purchased the land and entered a long-term lease with the Arboretum San Antonio for development2.
