Apr. 14, 2021
Our speaker is David Yorks, a life-long resident of Lake Minnetonka and a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a History degree and a Masters Degree in American History, and a fifty-five-year interest in the presidency of John Kennedy.
Regarding the Kennedy assassination; David has attended several national conferences and has met with and discussed the assassination with witnesses present in Dealey Plaza as well as discussing the assassination with several doctors who were present at Parkland Hospital, where they attempted to save the President’s life.
David’s business career included being a buyer at Dayton’s Department Store, owning a business that sold apparel to J.C. Penney- which is headquartered in Dallas- which allowed David to visit Dallas frequently- sixteen times in one year alone. David also worked for Minnesota United States Senator Rudy Boschwitz, and recently sold his group of small retail gift stores.
David’s talk is titled, “The Warren Commission: Fact or Fiction.” Please welcome David Yorks. |

What is Eid Celeb and Mayo Health System - Farib and Owat - Imp of COVID vaccine and prev medicine
May 19, 2021
Bashir Omar will present first and talk to us about Eid. Bashir works for Faribault public schools as one of our Somali Laissons.
Sissy Yang will present next and she is a nurse practitioner practicing in Faribault. I was a student here in the Owatonna in Faribault region and I absolutely fell in love with the community and patients served. I completed my D.N.P. at Viterbo University in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Before my nurse practitioner employment, I was a float ICU nurse at Mayo Clinic Rochester, I practiced there for 10 years. I currently live in the Twin Cities. I enjoy hiking, reading, concerts, and spending time with my loved ones. Fun fact: my grandmother is a 103 years old and is still living. |
