Around the world nearly five billion people lack access to safe surgery. Conditions that are easily treatable in Australia can become life threatening or socially isolating in low resource countries. Mercy Ships responds by deploying hospital ships staffed by volunteer medical professionals to provide free surgery and training, restoring health, dignity and opportunity. Our guest speaker Samantha Clarke, shares the human side of this work through powerful patient stories, the impact of Australian involvement and ways our communities can help bring hope to people who otherwise would have no access to care.

Every Monday after the General meeting.

Cost:  $7 for the movie and dinner at your own expense.
