Quesnel Tillicum Society - July...
Excellent way for 2014-15 President Rebecca Beuschel to begin the new Rotary year...making a donation!

On behalf of Quesnel Tillicum Society, Executive Director Sandy Brunton accepted our cheque for $2000 towards the purchase of a fridge, stove, and dishwasher for use in their Cultural Kin-and-Kinship Program. We let 2013-14 President Brandi in on the picture since the donation was approved during her year.

For the eagle-eyed, Rebecca is wearing a Germany soccer soccer just days after they won the 2014 FIFA World Cup!

Thanks to City Furniture for finding just the right items...

Quesnel Rodeo Club - June
From last year's RCMP Musical Ride, Quesnel Rodeo Club had figured out how to invest their $3,000 share: in a permanent tent awning for the enclosure set aside for seniors and physically challenged.

Supervised by President Brandi, Musical Ride chair Steve presents Scott Kirk of Quesnel Rodeo Club with our cheque.

Quesnel Curling Club - June...
The work had long since been completed, but we were happy to finally donate $2000 to Quesnel Curling Club for the installation of wheelchair accessible washrooms. Gord Reid was happy to relieve President Brandi of the burden of our cheque...

Sometimes we are just one of a number of funding partners...as in the case of Quesnel Canoe Club and the construction of their boathouse at Pioneer Park.
They have a whole pile of pictures on their Facebook page - click here
