2014 Pet Safe Mobile Animal Disaster Rescue unit

Wonder what happens to your pets and animals when there's a flood or fire? Pet Safe Coalition Society of Canada can now help!

The trailer holds supplies and equipment that allows for faster response during a disaster - fire, flood, evacuation etc. Just in 2014. the trailer was used during the PSCS two day training event, was deployed during one forest fire evacuation, was sent north for a 2-day Animal Wellness Clinic to help the animals of the Saik-uz Reserve, and displayed to create public awareness at the Quesnel Fall Fair. This trailer now stands ready to help the population of Quesnel and surrounding area animals in time of need.

20th March 2014, Treasurer Tim and Past-President Keith presented $2,000 from our 2013 Community Gaming Grant to Debbie Knabke (left) and Willow Eyford of Pet Safe Coalition, towards their Mobile Animal Disaster Rescue project.
