This week we had the privilege of meeting Nan McCreadie from Rotary International. Nan joined Rotary in 1997 and became her club president in 2000-2001. She quickly thereafter became District Governor in 2005-2006. Rotary International of Great Britain and Ireland was formed as an organization in 1910. Nan made history when she became the first female president in 2013. At that time, there were 53,000 Rotarians in Great Britain and Ireland. She said, "If you don't prepare, you won't perform well. Flying by the seat of your pants is just not going to allow you to reach the standards you are capable of. Believe in preparation and high standards, and you will be amazing."
