"A Channel of Peace is a 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to producing and supporting films and other multimedia projects and endeavors that provide insight into the advancement of family, faith in God, and the values of love, forgiveness, good works, and gratitude."
From Dan Roebuck:
It was fifty years ago at St. Anne's Church, in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, that I first heard The Prayer of Saint Francis. Even as a child, I was struck by the 'gauntlet' that it tossed at my very impressionable feet. Eventually set to music by a South African songwriter and Third Order Franciscan Sebastian Temple, "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace" became my favorite hymn and a mantra that I have repeated more times than anyone could ever count.
Now, with A CHANNEL OF PEACE, it's my greatest hope that we might extend this mission and these glorious ideals throughout the world with the help of one of our greatest tools for communication, THE ARTS.
The mass media is selling nihilism, despair, and Godlessness to a willing and hungry audience. They have masterfully introduced doubt and have used it to divide our culture and our country. If we don't counter program it, who will? It's our great hope that we might create life-affirming stories, in the same vein as GETTING GRACE, that celebrate faith, God, family, and service to others.
Please consider joining with us to be a Channel of Peace and help us to create FAITH-FILLED family entertainment with the goal of celebrating true faith in GOD and erasing doubt once and for all - the hymn's noblest goal.
