On Tuesday, February 2, we had the privilege of hearing from Jodi Stonehouse in regard to Moving the Mountain program; a partnership between the University of Alberta, iHuman and Harvard University.

 

This program focuses on 25 aboriginal young women ages 13 to 25. Alberta had the highest number of Residential schools in Canada. Today, many aboriginal youth and their families are facing challenges as inter generational survivors. They face abuse, many have been cycled through the foster system, are now homeless and so much more.
