December 1 - Interact Club of Old Scona Academic Charter Night

Our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club proud to sponsor the new Interact Club of Old Scona Academic. Today, they are 76 members strong and working hard on new projects, initiatives and fundraising to work with partners in our local community and establish relationships with other Interact Clubs to work on international projects.

District Governor Laura Morie joined us on December 1 to celebrate the charter of this new Interact club and presented Co-Presidents Rudra Patel and Fajr Haq with their Charter Certificate from Rotary International, our 2016 - 2017 Banner "Rotary Serving Humanity' and Certificates of Membership for the 76 newest members of Rotary in District 5370.

It was great to see family, friends, Rotarians and more come out to support these young Rotarians.

November Was Rotary Foundation Month

November was a very busy month for our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club. Our First Annual Pool for Polio was a HUGE success in raising $2400 towards our PolioPlus goal for 2016 - 2017 and FUN was had by all!

On November 22, we had a very special club meeting. We were joined by Patrick Gibson, District Polio Plus Chair, Wayne Kauffman, District Foundation Chair, Wayne McCutcheon, District Grants Chair and our District Governor Laura Morie.

Member Marilyn Mucha was presented with her Major Donor award and our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club was honored by Rotary International for the following:

Our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club was proud to present two of members with their first Paul Harris Fellow. Both members are recipients of the Whyte Knight Award. Through their own contributions to the Rotary

Foundation and points from generous club members in recognition of their exemplary service, Kristin Jennings and Paige Reeves were given their Paul Harris Fellows by Foundation Chair Kathy Strobl and President Tamara Larson.

Congratulations Kristin and Paige for this achievement.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, not only to Rotary, but also everything that you do in changing lives, serving humanity and truly making a difference!
