November Was Rotary Foundation Month

November was a very busy month for our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club. Our First Annual Pool for Polio was a HUGE success in raising $2400 towards our PolioPlus goal for 2016 - 2017 and FUN was had by all!
On November 22, we had a very special club meeting. We were joined by Patrick Gibson, District Polio Plus Chair, Wayne Kauffman, District Foundation Chair, Wayne McCutcheon, District Grants Chair and our District Governor Laura Morie.
Member Marilyn Mucha was presented with her Major Donor award and our FUN FEARLESS & FOCUSED Rotary Club was honored by Rotary International for the following:
Wayne Kauffman presenting President Tamara with the 2015 -2 016 Every Rotarian Every Year Banner for being one of 4,609 clubs (out of 35, 399 clubs world wide) in which every dues-paying member contributes to the Rotary Foundation with our average contribution being US $142 per capita.
Polio Chair Patrick Gibson presented President Tamara with a special certificate for our club's outstanding contribution to PolioPlus reaching 188% of our goal and putting us in the top five in our District.
Congratulations to Foundation Chair, and now our President Elect, Kathy Strobl for all her passion, vision and leadership, and her team, in reaching such milestones for our club!
