September is Hunger Action Month and we will be helping to combat hunger in our community by conducting a food drive at Trader Joe's that will benefit Common Pantry. Volunteers are needed for both the morning and afternoon shifts. Ideally we will have 3-4 people for each shift. Friends and family are welcome to participate. Volunteers will have a table set up at the entrance to the store and will sweetly and convincingly ask shoppers to buy a couple extra items to donate to Common Pantry. We will collect the goods and then hand them over to Common Pantry after the drive is over.
