John has been a Rotarian for over thirty years and is presently a member of the St. Charles Parish Rotary Club. He served as District 6840’s governor in 2015-16.
John was born and raised in New Orleans and is a graduate of St. Augustine High School. He holds a degree in sociology from Lake Forest College and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. His law enforcement career spanned forty years, retiring as a Louisiana State Police Lieutenant after twenty-two years and a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Major after eighteen years.
John and Tyrell, his wife of forty-two years, reside in Luling. The couple has three children.
