Is Mold Toxicity Real? Improving Our Public Health
Is Mold Toxicity Real? Improving Our Public Health

Dr. Joe Mather MD, MPH is a local physician specializing in hard to treat cases. In New Orleans, exposure to mold is one of the most overlooked reasons for a variety of health problems. We'll look at the health impacts of mold, some of the treatments available to doctors, and discuss solutions to combat the growing incidence of mold related illnesses.

Rotary Club of Cambridge
President Tom McAlister visited the Rotary Club of Cambridge on July 17, where he learned about their inspiring Global Grant project to provide Ambulance Tricycles in rural Ghana — helping transport pregnant women and the ill to hospitals.

New Member Pairing/Buddy System
As part of our continuing effort to strengthen connections within our Club, we have launched a new Pairing/Buddy System, where each member is assigned to a small group of fellow Rotarians. The goal is simple: stay in touch regularly, whether by text, phone, email, or in person. Just a quick check-in every week or two can go a long way in building stronger bonds and ensuring we’re supporting each other like the Rotary family we are.
Each member should have received an email from John Olinde with your group assignment and contact details for your group members. If you didn’t receive the email, please:
  • Check your spam folder, or
  • Reach out to John directly at johnfolinde@gmail.com
We encourage you to take a moment each week to connect with your group members. This is a simple but meaningful way to engage more deeply with fellow Rotarians and foster our core value of fellowship.
Thank you for your participation in this initiative, and let’s continue to make our Club a place where strong connections thrive.
Call for Speakers
The Program Committee is seeking members who are interested in helping coordinate speakers for our upcoming meetings. This is a great opportunity to get involved, share ideas, and help shape the engaging programs our club is known for.
We’re also seeking input from all members on the types of speakers and topics you’d like to see in the months ahead. Your suggestions are valued and appreciated!
Please forward all ideas or your interest in joining the committee to Angel Cutno a.chung.cutno@gmail.com
The Four Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do:

1.     Is it the TRUTH?

2.     Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3.     Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4.     Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
