Freret Fest - Volunteer Opportunity

The rescheduled Freret Fest is Saturday November 1, 2025.  

Our beverage tent location is on the corner of Freret and Soniat Street (next to Good Bird) 5041 Freret Street, NOLA, 70115

Volunteer Shifts

First shift: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

Second shift: 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

You can sign up to volunteer there or you can text me your full name, your desired shift, indicate whether you are able to take the course, and if you plan to bring another adult.  If you bring another person to volunteer, one of you must take the course and please text me their full name. 

When only a few people take the course, those who take the course are sometimes unable to take a needed break and or enjoy any time at the fest.  There will be 8 slots for each shift and few spot will be indicated to volunteer without having taken the Responsible Vendor Servers' Permit. 

This is a really fun volunteer opportunity and the Responsible Vendor Servers' Permit class is painless and informative!

If you need to take the course and plan to volunteer this year, the Fest's Lead Beverage Captain will reimburse you for the course.  That is a generous offer, but I'm sure it is unnecessary.

Remember all tips collected at our tent the day of the event, go directly to fund our scholarship initiative.
