Overview the programs offered by the department of College and Career Readiness at WCTC

Linda will give an overview the programs offered by the department of College and Career Readiness at Waukesha County Technical College.  Adults who have not yet earned a high school diploma, who are learning English as an additional language or need to improve their academic skills can get free instruction at WCTC.  In addition, our department provides these same services at the Waukesha County Jail.  New on the horizon is that this program is moving from the Waukesha campus, across from the YMCA to the Pewaukee campus in January.

Linda Gordy is the Associate Dean of College and Career Readiness at WCTC.  Linda is a teacher at heart and has had a long history in education.  She is licensed as a special educator, general educator and a reading specialist.  She was a K-12 teacher and a teacher educator before coming to work at WCTC.
